Handmade in the Coromandel Peninsula, we have merged recycled yacht sails and premium-grade Western Red Cedar to create a new era of hot tub lids.
The Sulis Sail Lid is comprised of 10mm closed-cell EVA foam sandwiched between two layers of recycled sail material.
Cedar battens are fixed to the top, allowing it to roll on itself.
No more wrestling with heavy, bulky spa pool covers. Simply roll the cover-up and place it beside your hot tub while you bathe.
Sails are comprised of heavy-weight nylon and dacron. Built to withstand any conditions the open ocean can throw at them. Saltwater, harsh UV rays, gale force winds, and at times, sub-zero temperatures. All the while, still propelling a boat weighing tons, across the seas.
It seems fitting that a sails second life is still to endure NZ’s tough elements. However this time, it is to keep your hot tub free from debris and provide insulation.
